THE NEXT BIG THING

The Alma Louise Foundation [ALF] is an Arkansas based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created by her children to carry out the legacy of a wonderful mother's work of loving and serving people. Primarily focusing on supporting patients affected by kidney disease, an effort learned as we currently support Alma's fight against this illness and her journey towards receiving a kidney transplant.

Watching other patients suffer alongside her invoked a passion to love and nurture, so she began using her gifts and talents to make blankets and care packages for patients undergoing dialysis treatments. She comforted others with prayer and words of encouragement even when she was down and felt hopeless. Consistently serving others empowered her to have self-sustaining hope. This new feeling of hope was contagious and inspiring, enough to put organizational feet to action. A mantra was born, "MAKE YOUR OWN HOPE"
